Do you shoot B+W or Colour?

Thought this could be interesting. Just let me know if this has been done before.
If you shoot digital but convert to black and white most of the time, choose B+W.
Which do you use over about, 70% of the time?

Same here, I have shot a few rolls of colour, but either left these unprocessed, or processed them as black and white in caffenol. Ever since I got into film, my Nikon D40 has been left basically untouched, apart from for uploading images to the web. Film is just so much more fun and involving.

All my 35mm film is B&W. All my 120 film is C41 colour.

I used to use only B&W film, then I got sick of photos looking the same all the time. I never shoot in; or convert to, B&W now.

My personal opinion here is that Black and White photopgraphy has lost a lot of the impact it used to have, and that there is more merit in well considered and executed color work. I mean no offense to the B&W afficionados. A good photo will always transcend the medium anyway.

Color can be nice occasionally but I loose my interest after a few rolls and always get back to b&w.

I am using black and white as I am processing at home and am thoroughly enjoying that. but i like to mix it up with colour now and again - specially since the supermarket is processing them through a fuji machine for $2 a roll!

Roughly equal, on holiday it's almost all colour though, as I think in places of natural beauty it's generally a good idea to capture the colour.

I shoot mostly black and white but I usually have a M body with either Ektar 100 color negative film or Provia 100F color transparencies film. Jim

It dipends on the object or project I'm shooting. With shiny weather and outdoor landscapes I like more color negatives. Strict architecture and people close ups more b/w. At the moment mostly colour with Ektar 100 or Fujicolor 100.

I live in a coloured world so I shoot colour.
However I do tend to go for restricted colour in my shots - shades and tints interest me.

100% b&w for all my serious work which is various projects. I did a color project in 2005 and may do another one someday, just nothing I see in the near future.

I do shoot color (now digital p&s) for casual situations such as family happy snaps and those "would you send me a copy" times.

Black & White with film, and increasingly colour with digital, so about equal. This will swing back towards B&W a bit, as my conversion to b&w skills improve. For now though, my b&w conversions fail to impress me.

Can't shoot colour, unless I'm forced to, it's usually colour film, rather than digital.
