Hi folks

I've searched high and low for a UK supplier of M39 (LTM) to Leica M adaptors. Nada. Except I think The Classic Camera does one for £130, ouch!!!

Looking for a 135mm one for my Jupiter 11. Does anyone know a shop in the UK that sells them?

Otherwise I've found some on eBay and Amazon, but it will take up to a month to get them in from abroad.

Another question, why do adapters specify compatible lens size? For example, some are for 25mm - 50mm, others for 35mm-135mm. I'd have thought they'd all be the same!?

Thanks

T

Robert White for Voigtlander adapters - £35 + VAT and postage. A good company to deal with. The reason that the various adapters are designated for various focal lengths is that they are designed to bring up the different frame lines. Some of the wider lenses can be used with any adapter - 12mm, 15mm, 21mm, 25mm for instance, as the Leica viewfinder does not cater for these frame lines.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Ray, I'm guessing the R-D1 has fixed framelines so it won't make a difference?
