Congratulations from me too, and well worth watching as Damaso makes some interesting points which are not often covered in other interviews.

BTW, in case you haven't followed Damaso's posts, he is a Leica M6 and M8 photographer. It is so nice to see him get this recognition!:)
 
Very well done Damaso! A thoughtful and insightful interview...I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about what you do and why you do it.
 
Congratulations Damaso. Your comment at the start of the piece on considering how best to make an 'as yet to be taken' image convey your message to a viewer who may 'yet to be born' particularly struck me. Seems like a worthwhile benchmark by which to assess whether any imminent image will speak clearly across time and cultural differences . If it can, it should certainly work well in the 'here and now' and succeed as a picture. Thanks also to the OP for flagging up the recording by Kodak which I would otherwise have missed.

I'm proud to know him, even if it's just through this forum, and wish him continued success in his passion...
