From the premise of the Latin somnium, for "daydream," "fancy" or "foolishness," I have prepared 24 new (and different) cyanotype prints and some additional fiber prints for Bureau of Urban Living (460 West Canfield, between Cass and Second).
Bureau likes Detroit-themed items, so I took a year with a couple of monster Fujicas (and some lesser cameras) to work on the look of things you might see in dreams. And not always the good dreams.
These will be up for the Canfield Street Market on July 30 (5-9 pm) and thereafter. There are a lot of other artists and things to do there, both a Bureau and City Bird (lest you think I am an egomaniac, Bureau did one of these cards for each of the major exhibitors...).
