My parents used to take my sister and I bowling at Village Bowl all the time when we were kids. The bowling alley is in the Quimby Village shopping center on Bluffton Road, in Fort Wayne. The Quimby Village Theater, where we watched many movies, is on the other end of the shopping center. Village Bowl closed its doors forever earlier this summer.

I usually like the decisions you make composition wise. This is ok, but I'm thinking perhaps you should have gotten closer... maybe just the sign, bench under the sign, and the first set of doors to the left (though it may be more about the shape of the building vs. the sky)?

I'm no expert, just thinking out loud...but I do enjoy your work. Would love to see some color from you.

I had a hard time with the composition because if I got closer, I'd have to cut through some of the doors, since this place has two sets of doors, and I decided I didn't like that. I wanted to show them all, so this is what I worked out. The sky is flat! It was made at about 8:30pm and a storm was coming in so the sky was solid grey clouds

Usually I don't feel much for pictures of buildings.
This one is perfect, Chris.

The mass of the sky, the shape of the roof, everything is great.
The only tiny thing that you may rethink is what seems to be the start of a bench on the left side. I would consider cutting it. Not sure, because of the window, but may worth a try.
But really, I'm nitpicking. It's great!
