At last, I can afford a Billingham bag! No, I didn't find a job , they do not exist as my industry dried up in 2008. But, I did sell some more gear and I need to decide now between the Pro and the Leica bag.

The pro is what I have decided on before. But then I noticed that the Leica bag has a zip-compartment. Are there any dividers/pockets in there or is it just an empty compartment? Is the main compartment divided up with good padding or not?

Currently, I fit my M3 with lens and the R4 with lens in the old Domke waist bag with room for another body with no lens. Current compartment length is 9.5" internally.

Would the Leica bag hold three M bodies with a lens? Or is the Pro bag a better fit even though there is no zip compartment for all the little things I put in the bag?

I have no insight into the bags you inquire about, but am just curious about your statement that your industry dried up in 2008. What industry is that? Construction?

Real estate development/civil engineering/land planning, etc.

The front zippered compartment is one unit, no dividers. The main unit is user-configurable with padded dividers. It typically holds a Leica M and lens, plus two additional lenses.

Thanks, guys...

so it looks like the Pro bag would better do what I need. Just have to wait until it is back in stock now.

Ha!

The Billingham Pro bag just came to the front door courtesy of UPS!:D

Everything fits perfectly with plenty of room left over. This is a fantastic bag! Thanks to all who have recommended the Pro bag over several threads, it has certainly filled the bill.:)
