Just wondering about availability in the U.S. Is it possible to walk in somewhere and buy one yet, or are there still order lists everywhere?

I honestly haven't checked online stores yet...just looking for a man-on-the-street opinion.

No, not at list price. Ive been looking for one at list for months. Seems whomever has them in stock is gouging the price. So they are available if you're willing to pay the price.

I'm not, and Sony may get my money if the Nex-7 rumors are true.

All Sony has to do is make the 7 available and not too funny looking and it should be a hit!

I was able to order one from B+H recently. I think they're a special order item. It took about a month to arrive.

You need to get on a waiting list (one or more) if you really want one. That's how you are going to pay regular price. If you aren't serious about the camera and only want it if it is available NOW, then you will never get one at regular price unless you step in ****.

Robert White in the UK seem to have them at £999 (not sure if this includes VAT at 20%) including the leather case and a 4GB card
