Heads up: black Canonet $149

Thats a very decent price, particularly for those who live where shipping may cost less.

I picked up a black GIII in need of service about 4 months ago for $100. It needs foam, a donor camera for replacements lens elements, etc. This one looks like a bargain by comparison. Or maybe I just over paid. ;)

it is a decent price if it is the hammer price.

it is a "Made in Japan" version, suppose to be rarer than the usual " Made in Taiwan R.O.C.".
i believe the Japanese always keep the "Made in Japan" version (and some unique designs) for sale in Japan only, at least in their golden era of bubble economy,
and all the export versions were Taiwan made.

i have a black "made in Taiwan R.O.C.", i wouldn't mind paying this amount to own this.
...oh, no relation.

Brian, I have a donor Canonet for lens elements if you want it. (free)

Have documented up to $500 for this camera in black over the last 2-3 years.

Market's down now, but it's a steal at $149.99. Watch it go up...

Whoop... missed that, it's over. Was it a buy it now??? if so, seller left a bit of money on the table.

still not bad for a fixed lens rangefinder (manual mode isn't metered, as I remember), leave alone it's black. $500 is beyond my understanding.
