I sort of like the color. The blue coat on the dog is a nice touch that gets lost in the B&W.

The bw is stronger personally.
B&W all the way... and I prefer color photographs usually.

To me the strongest part of the photo is the eyes. Color distracts from that.

Just the opposite for me...the blue coat over the dog is just too blue...it takes away the rest of the picture...my eyes just settle on that blue coat...

I have to agree with you on this one, the color pic is so overwhelmingly blue, to the point of distraction.
Now I can see better in the B&W view, in this case ...so I vote for the B&W.
