Your M9-P is already brassing? or is that a reflection?

Please excuse low-res iPhone pic but I'm sure you can see past the lack of focus
I sold you that grip lol (ebay) Nice to see where it ended up.

Small world, Chris.
I'll say Hi next time I get a chance to pop into the shop.
It does the job well, and feels better than a Leica grip. (Even more so now the s/h price of M grips seems to have doubled!)

Yeh I bought it only for sizing up for a home made grip that Im still in the process of making. We have an M grip at work which I like from the shape but its plastic and just puts me right off.
Yes would be nice to match a face to a name. I have probably served you a few times if you've been in for Leica bits

Vobluda - the filter acts as a see-through lens cap
it gets removed in use, but just in case I forget to remove it, I don't get a blank frame (just a bit of flare lol)
Really must get a proper cap so I can carry the camera round in the sun without having to hold my hand over the lens
Beano_z - just need the flux capacitor to generate the 1.21 gigawatts
if I suddenly start posting 1950's looking pics on ortho film, you'll know I figured it out lol

the other option would be just not to put it face-up on a table at noon with a fast lens wide-open and the focus set somewhere around infinity. or carry it on your back like that while cycling (which happened to a friend of mine
I have lit cigarettes with my 1.2/35 at f1.2 though (on purpose that is). try that at f22 or f4 even, might take a while.

Unhealthy but smart and funny to read, Simon!![]()
unhealthy? no no. checking a 1.2/35 for dust in the lens by wide-openly pointing it at the sun and having a close look from the other side is unhealthy.

Love vintage Hifi, too!

An Expensive Lunch Break
An Expensive Lunch Break
I went out to lunch on Friday and came back to the office with an M2. I have always wanted one of these. Aside from replacing the vulcanite, the body is in really nice condition. I have it loaded with Ilford Delta 400 for a test roll.
