thanks! that last one i think i would like even more if i had nailed the focus on the couple... my m4's rangefinder was out of whack so i was getting front focus constantly. still haven't finished a roll with it after the cla...
by the way i've fixed (sort of) ken ruth's mechanism for the lens release. he had used a spring to have the metal lever always against the lens, but it works fine without it as well. thanks to gorilla super glue it's back on track

If you get a chance, could you post some pictures of his release setup? I am mulling over some options for rigging something up.

absolutely, just took some pictures. basically, it's a small hinge screwed to the lens base with a metal piece glued to it. it's rather simple and works pretty well.

I wouldn't expect it seem worthwhile to you. But, your opinion could be the strongest contraindicator to keep it.
