The Conspirator by Robert Redford (filmed in Savannah), just noticed this on the movie we watched over the weekend. Turns out I photographed almost every scene 7 years ago at a workshop in Savannah:
a canadian film maker shot a movie in edmonton...i bumped into the movie stills photographer who was facinated with my pair of cle's and invited me to shoot with him on an outdoor set.
it was very cool...
A party in the Docklands, next to the location Kubrick used to film the battle scene in "Full Metal Jacket," shortly after shooting wrapped up. They still had the imported palm trees there. Like an idiot, I left my camera back at the flat.
I come out of my apartment building 6 months ago to find this happening in my street. Had my Rolleiflex with and after numerous crew members come over for a fondle that let me walk around and take some shots.
Pier 90 - Richmond, or what's left of it. Back in the 70's this pier was used to store old WWII era ships that were set to be scrapped. In 72 it was also used for the climatic ending for Dirty Harry film - Magnum Force. Clint drove his nearly wrecked car down this pier and then tried hiding on a pair of old CVE's (WWII era escort aircraft carriers). He was followed up by two motorcycle cops who were hunting him down. They lost. 40 years alter this is what remains.
