It happened now the second time, that I bought something in the classifieds and after the the transaction had been finished, the add went missing and I see no way of leaving a feedback to the seller (only 100% positive in those cases ).
Am I missing some function of the classifieds forum?
I can also not find the sellers in the user listing of the classifieds - is this listing only a list of active adds sellers?

i agree about the need for an easy feedback function and rating. +++
and AFTER the buyers have had a chance to leave feedback, i'd appreciate it if either the sellers or admin would remove the sold items more quickly. the classifieds are often cluttered with old, sold stuff, which may discourage people from looking.
thanks

Another vote for providing a better way to leave feedback.
I have purposly left my ads up after the sale to give the buyer time to leave whatever comments he may want. THen I will delete the ad myself.

This still needs some attention and an easier way to do feedback!
RobUnfortunately its not the answer. Clicking profile only takes you to your own profile, and searching the Members List only gets you members that currently have an ad listed.

I agree, there's got to be an easier way to leave feedback.

Another vote for improving the feedback system. It's too convoluted.

If it's not on the first page of the classifieds, I don't go digging. Also, if the first or second items I do click on are sold, but the ad hasn't been moved or deleted, I go on to other sites for deals.
There is a forum thread for feedback, so there is no need to leave sold ads taking up front page space, where unsold ads could be getting action, IMHO.

I finally gave up on it. If someone sends me the link after a transaction, once they've found it, I gladly leave feedback. Otherwise I don't.

Although it's possible to find a profile for someone without an active ad, it's difficult at best for those less tech savvy.
It's much simpler to have the seller provide the link to his/her own classifieds profile. And while they're at it, it's probably a good idea to provide the link to that feedback thread floating around.

And with eBay becoming ever more irritating, the classifieds are becoming more important to us.

How to find my "registration number" ?
The feedback system on RFF is too arduous.

Thanks - that's easy.
What about a small tutorial for newbies to the classifieds in the classifieds, including how to leave feedback, etc …

Hi, Moderator(s),
Could you tell us the best way to give feedback after a sale...and then "Sticky Post It" above the Forum Threads.
Specifically, please provide step-by-step procedures for both buyer and seller, for both scenarios shown below.
SCENARIO 1 (BUYER & SELLER): Classified Sales transaction has been completed, and the advertisement is STILL visible via the Classified pages.
SCENARIO 2 (BUYER & SELLER): Classified Sales transaction has been completed, but the advertisement is GONE from the Classified pages.
(If this is in RFF HELP or in a thread, tell us where please..and "Sticky Post It" above the Forum Threads.)
I'm unsure who the moderators are...but we will be grateful for your guidance.

I second what Mr. Toad said. This can be a very important facility for us here, but it has to be easy to use, including easy to give feedback.
