He seems very pleased that it was hand delivered.

Sounds like a great camera, I'm looking forward to trying one out.
 
It's early going but I wasn't terribly impressed with the picture of the tree he posted at 100%. It didn't look that much smoother or more detailed than the EP3, which I found very surprising. The Fuji x100 looked best to my eye!

However, I will certainly reserve judgement. I really hope Sony hit one out of the ballpark here - and that they ship the camera on time and in sufficient quantity!
 
I really like the look of the camera ... it's functional and stylish.
 
I think the important thing here is if he's got it other well known reviewers will also get it. What I would love to see is some one do a shot out. Leica 24mm lens on m9 and gxr plus nex 7 with this Zeiss 24 f1.8 lens :)

I like the layout of this camera. Looks good to me in terms of style too.

Only time will tell if Sony hit one out of the park.

well I have one pre ordered along with an a77. I have been looking to download the owners manual but I can't locate one. I did download the manual for the a77. I am excited by the looks of it it can be shot in manual easy. The biggest draw back to me with all the other micro offerings.
I am sure with Sonys reputation the IQ will be nice.
 
I like the body but the lenses seem overly large, I will have to see it my hands. I did not see a lot of differences in the posted photos. Looks very good so far. I'll hold off till I see what Fuji has to offer next.
