An inspirational message from Adrian, Texas. This sign has stood along the I-40 Frontage Road just outside the small Texas Panhandle town for many years. I first saw it four years before I photographed it, but wasn't able to stop to do so until my trip to Santa Fe in August, 2011.

Cool image. I dig how one's choices are I-40 x 3 and then 66. I think I know which one most of us on here would choose.

Thanks guys. Route 66 still exists in many of the small towns along the former highway's route. I-40 is basically Route 66, except that it bypasses the towns. Makes it easy to find the interesting places, just get off at each town and drive into the town! Some of the old Route 66 stuff is very well preserved, some of the businesses are still open, while others are crumbling away, abandoned.
