Joe, your last round of R-D1 shots, as others have already articulated, were really good.
Having also owned the X-100 and R-D1, I also struggled to find my synergy with the x-100. The same can not be said about me and my R-D1. The two of us are like best friends, we just get each other. The x-100 takes fantastic photos and many people in here are doing just that. But for me, the connection with the camera (and lenses for that matter), far outweighed the added ISO capabilities. I am having a hard time enjoying any camera that isnt a true RF. I'm sure this feeling will pass, but it has forced my D700 to sit on the shelf far too often.
Anyway, Kudos to the x-100 users and congrats on your 2xR-D1 setup. On one last note, joe the M8 is a stellar camera if its a good copy. I am playing with one at the moment and am very impressed. I find myself trying to reach for a shutter crank far too often though. M6 and R-D1 are the two for me.
