I think it has potential for something...either way it was free :)

Colours are quite flat, unfortunately. I wouldn't use a film that gave those results, but maybe the camera lens isn't in the same league as the Voigtlander, either.

I'm not sure if you are aware of CVS' ability to turn gold into lead (yes you read that right) but I wouldn't judge a film, lens or a meter based on CVS scans.

The last roll of film I took to a CVS was a disaster in the literal sense of the word. Truly horrendous scans, almost as if they didn't want me to come back. So I didn't.

I like the last one, what plants are those?

The scans lack shadow (blackness, not detail), which is easily correctable in any decent photo editing tools.

No light leaks, so I'd call the quick test successful.
Now shoot a real (not test) roll with it :)

Oh man, I'd have to ask my wife what the plants are :D

I know some of them are Forsythia, the other ones are some kind of climber, My wife does this all the time (grows roots on cut plants) so she can transplant more all over our property.

yeah I think the camera will do ok, I'll put some better film in it for the next run. (Probably Ektar 100)
