thanks jim and roland.
what jumped out at me this week were:
- filmfan's exceptional shower curtain silhouette - for mood and for tone
- petronius' car/window/reflection - for composition, as usual - and the tree/shadow/leaves picture - which is intellectually engaging, as a puzzle, every time i see it
- raid's lovely gesture photo of his equally lovely daughter
- jonmanjiro's awesome tokyo subway photo, as an absolutely unguarded moment.

Late, but with picks:
Keith, love shots of people and their work, this one is unclose and outstanding.
EliasK, well seen, composed and I like the sharpness and tones.
StefanJozef, to me this has a lot going for it.
Paolo Bonello, I'm a sucker for low light shots the beetle is the icing on the cake for this one.
Tuna, I would say this can be classified as a legitimate "moment", it doesn't get much better than this.
photony texas, Always original, surprising what can be done with a flag and tile wall.
print44, I like the thought this brings to mind of ascending from the dark into the light.
Ezzie, a color pick for the week, it speaks for itself.

3 from 36 on a good day.
Semrich and hteasley thankyou for the mentions. This was a brilliant week in the gallery. So many beautiful images. I’m limiting myself to just three picks although I could pick a dozen at least which I truly like.
