yashica shutter button help

Hi everyone, so I was recently given a Yashicamat LM that seems to work but it is missing the shutter button. Does anyone know if they were a standard part for most Yashica TLRs or is it specific to the LM? Can I fine one for another model or does it have to be from the LM?

Hello scholzj1, as far as I know the shutter buttons on all Yashica TLRs are identical, at least the ones on the 635, the original Yashicamat and the Yashicamat EM (same as LM with a modified meter) are.

Are you missing only the button? is there a silver ring around the opening? can you see a piece of metal below the opening that has a gentle curve on it? If you push this piece of metal with a stick or such, does the shutter fire?
