Avraham Soskin’s Rolleiflex

During a work I was assigned to do at the museum I fell upon one very interesting object - Avraham Soskin's Rolleiflex Original Standard. A camera manufactured between 1932 and 1935. I asked to take it on a photo-ride, and surprisingly was granted permission. Join me in one of the greatest adventures of Photo-Archeology.

Great work. It was a similar thrill, with a less distinguished Bessa II when I processed the first images from it since 1961, earlier last year. It is a time machine and seems to hold memories of the light from its own time. Thanks for sharing.

The lens flare is very attractive in your OS shots made into the light. But with the lenses cleaned they don't flare as much – and as you saw, they yield very nice color.

I had one of those (cameras) from the late 1960s through the '80s. Picked it up in a flea market for pocket change.
