Can't vote!
I have all of the Poll lenses except a 24mm Leica.
I only carry a 21mm and a 75mm at this time. If indoor available light is required, I supplement the 21mm f2.8 ASPH with a 35mm Lux ASPH.
Three lenses/one body becomes unwieldy, I may take only one body for two lenses but most of the time it's two M7's with two lenses for avoiding lens changes.-Dick

Its quite daft this. Those who say 'only X is required. Period' in ten years will probably say something else is all you need. period. Besides, everyone is different.

I vote for just a 35 and a 50... I usually go out with just one or the other. For me, the more gear I take out, the less I actually shoot..

How about four lenses - 21, 35, 75, 135? It all fits in one of the smaller A&A bags with two bodies and can be carried easily if you don't go big on the lenses. I do this and miss the 50, but I can't see five lenses.

I would go with 21/35/90. I like something just a bit longer then 75. With just two lenses, I carry the 35 and 90. On a recent trip to Asia, I carried a X100 and did not find the lack of interchangeable lenses a limitation. In fact, I gave the DLux 5 to my daughter to use during the trip.

I vote for 24 & 50. I recently took that combo to Europe. I never felt, "I wish I had a 90" or "I wish I had a wider lens than 25mm".

On a previous trip I took a 21 and 50. There was too big of a gap between 21 and 50.

For myself, personally, I prefer minimum of 35 cron and 50 summilux. Next would be either a 21 or 24mm. I have a 90 but find I rarely seem to use it. I also prefer to travel light so the extra weight of the 90 is definitely noticeable.

Take whatever you're comfortable with, but do pick a primary lens you can shoot almost everything with so you don't have to switch lenses. Or even think about lenses.

I think the 24mm is more than wide enough for 99% of shots and having the 90mm would be nice...

I rarely take more than two M lenses on a trip. But, then I always have a little Canon p&s digital along. It's amazing what can be done with a small camera, working within its limitations.

For you? only you can answer that. Obviously we're not that much of a help- notice that most of these responses aren't even options on your poll! :)

Sometimes the best answers are not "either/or," or "black/white." In photography its a personal decision. I've had lots of lenses, but at the end of the day I prefer heading out with just the one lens and hate slepping stuff. YMMV

All this poll has really answered is that there are slightly more RFF shooters who prefer 50mm compared to 35mm.

I use 28 40 90 or 21 40 90 for travel. Only because the 90 Elmar-C is super light compared to the Summicron.

21+28+50 works for me. Don't have a 24 or a 75. For travel, I always take a digital camera in addition to my one film body. For super light travel, I take only my Rollei 35SE.
