Quick - Whats a mint M4-P worth ?

As the title says, I'd need a quick going price for a mint M4-P Leica ?
Never opened, i doubt more than 2-3 rolls of film passed through it.
Fully boxed and with all papers, Its on a local antiquities site and I'd like to bid but have no idea what my upper price threshold should be.

Went over 2000$ equivalent in local currency ... I just don't get the price hikes some cameras get and the aggressive bidding that goes on.

I think it is depends on where you are.

I have heard that M4-P get a lot more in some countries than US.

Personally, I will not pay $1500 for M4-P, it is great camera though.

Here in France, they cost approx. 650 to 800 euros used but in good condition.

I was willing to give up to 1000€ for it but the price hike was crazy. I phoned the website to see if those were legitimate bids and they confirmed it... Crazy, just crazy.

With box and papers, it is collectors territory... so the price reflects this.

Koni Kowa : I think they are overpriced here at the moment. Also, I think the M4 costs less currently. Nobody like the plastic levers and the crank, the new trend is to replace them with M2/3 parts ...

Well, you might want to look somewhere else for a user, then.

Igorcamera.com (good seller) has two at the moment:

Leica M4-P #1622174, black, cap, manual, box, Mint- $1195.
Leica M4-P #1532552, black, cap, CLA, Ex+/Ex++ $920.

They are great Leicas. Only choice really, if you want old 35/50 framelines, and also use 28/75 (I have two 😱 ).

I sold a quite minty one, boxed and papers, went for... 900 or 1000 bucks, a few months ago. Best Leica imo.
