18mm CV finder vs 18mm Zeiss finder

I received the Voigtlander 1.5x viewfinder with my 12mm CV Heliar.

I already have the Zeiss 18mm ZM and the matching Zeiss finder.

Upon doing a comparison, the view is absolutely identical through these two finders. That is to say, fantastic.

Identical FOV, brightness, lack of distortion, framelines and space around them.

Thought I'd just share this insight for people looking for a great alternative to the slightly expensive Zeiss ZM finder.
Obviously the ZM finder is better made, with a metal foot and metal outer shell. Also the flat front element makes cleaning a lot easier.

Thanks Daniel. Just found a nice used ZM close to the price of a new CV, so I opted for the Zeiss. Otherwise would have gone for a new CV.
