Don't call me Ron
Got back safely, it was a good day!
Met some people from the forum here and shook hands. Nice to meet you guys! They recognized me by my blue Leica M2. A lot of people commented on it and wanted to hold it, truly amazing. I think I can claim some commision from Cameraleather now
Said blue Leica M2 was also fondled by the ever present and very pretty redhead from 'Foto den Boer'. My jewel from Wetzlar can thus now also lay claim to being a babe magnet. Mesmerized as I was, I forgot to tell her that the blue matched her eyes really well
(No points for being cheesy).
What I bought:
Nikon FM10 with 28-80 AF (only 35 euros, a steal!)
Nikkor 50mm f1.8
Old Agfa flash with a swivel head
Truly gummed up Werra 3 for 15 Euros > went straight to Will van Manen for a CLA
52mm ND4 filter
Cable release

We returned safely as well. There was a lot to see and to play with, in the end I bought a Leica Mini and three 35mm films. I hoped for something else, but no luck today...

Well, that was a nice outing. I didn't get the neverready case for my Leica (the one I have is falling apart at the stitches quite rapidly now), but I did get some nice goodies: Minox 35GL w/case, couple of reloadable cartridges, lens cap for my Kiev (original item, free. Thanks again, unknown-to-me stand holder), original Canon 48mm Y3 filter (for my Canonet), and a nice Leitz cable release to toss in the IIIf kit
Then after Mr. Buzzardkid gave me another Minox (35GT), so I have my testing work cut out for me...

Hey!
had prepared a lengthy post before, but RFF got hung up...
It was nice meeting you all: Penny Lane, Stoneydeluxe, Hkerensky, Ron (Netherlands), Said, 'unknown mr. 3' but sadly I did not run into Rick.
My list:
Just now I bought a Bay III to 46mm adapter and a metal 46mm lens hood online. For the Rolleiflex 2.8F.
Man, that Tele-Rolleiflex was sweet.

- M42 to Nikon adapter
- empty ORWO cassette, gift for a friend
- Leica cable release for EUR 2, thanks Derk! Enjoy that Minox!
- Five 120 rolls of Astia 100
- Five 120 rolls of Ektar 100

All those confusing nicknames
Yeah, sorry Johan. I had kept an eye out for familiar faces, but besides my buddy Kenny and fellow re-enactment photographer 'Moonflame', I didn't run into anyone. Not even the guys from Analog Photo Forum. I went home somewhat early as I wasn't feeling too well.
Nice finds!
Already got my Voigtländer Brillant loaded with a roll of Ilford.

Hey!
[*] Leica cable release for EUR 2, thanks Derk! Enjoy that Minox!
Your welcome!
As to those Minoxes: The one I bought has a dead shutter (magnets won't respond) which is a shame as it was sold as working. That's old gear for ya... The one you gave me has a dead meter (doesn't do anything).
I'm off the want for these critters. They're now enjoying a long, luxurious stay in my parts bin

Sure was nice meeting you guys again ! Rick, sorry that i didn't spot you. Must remember to send you my phonenumber for next time.
Here my list of goodie-goodies :
- Adapter for 35mm film for a 6x6 camera. Still don't know the brand but surely not from Rollei.
- Rodenstock Clarovit II 6x9 rangefinder (yes, Johan, see my answer to an earlier thread of you in the 120 folder section !)
- Minolta XE-5 with a stuck selftimer which was "repaired" in 5 minutes time.
- Travenar Angle Scope. For its nice surface mirror or maybe just to shoot around corners !
