coding a summicron 35 ASPH... what changes?

using it uncoded on M9, is it just a question of vignetting with lenses > 35mm? or are there other (more importants) issues solved?

ok, I know it's easier to catalogate shots in lightroom, but that doesn't mind for me.

You can choose your lens manually without coding, so your M9 knows which lens you use.
The only advantage of the coding is that you don't have to change the settings yourself when you change lenses.

I know, I only don't know the exact benefits that the coding gives with such type of lenses

I made some tests and I only noticed less vignetting at f2

The most important benefit of coding is that the camera (or RAW converter) can correct for color casts. This is very important for wider angle lenses, but not so important for telephotos.

At 50mm you're probably okay; at 35mm maybe you start to see some benefit.

Certainly by 24mm you start to see major changes in the color casts at the edge of the frame.
