Olympus Pen D3, CLA?

I picked up an Olympus Pen D3 for $10. The socket for the tripod is weak, a lot of threads on the cap that holds it are stripped. As long as I don't use a tripod it should be ok. Perhaps I can replace it with one from an EE my friend has that is bad.

The shutter gets sticky after a few uses. Also it is hard to roll over. Aside from that everything appears to work.

I sent an e-mail to Zuiko.com but he is out for a week or something, I think. Also it doesn't say if you specifically services these. Best as I can tell I just need a CLA, maybe some light seals. The frame counter seems like it does half frame counts too...

Essex Camera in NJ should be able to do a CLA. And as for the tripod cap, I think I have an extra D2 or D3 bottom plate. PM me. I'm traveling but will be back in town in a few days.
