When I developed a roll from my M3 today, one of the images had the wierdest look.
The image is taken with a CV 21, sun was dull/overcast, it's only this frame and and the problem is clearly visible on the neg.
HP5+/D76
Anyone?

Light leak!
Any play in the bottom plate? Or in the back door?

Can you post a portion of the film (4-5 frames) including this one?

This looks like a typical M light leak, which is coming from the front, not the back. If you had a recent cla, they may have disturbed some light seals or baffles. Often the light is coming in through the finder.
If you shoot a roll of color film and get the leak again, you would see a white leak if it is from the front, and reddish one if it comes from the back. It does look like you will be sending it back for repair though.

Pretty weird tough that it only affected one frame in two rolls.

If this is an actual scan of the length of film, I wonder why there is uneven spacing between the frames - don´t know whether that could be an indication of the cause for your problem....

Did you change lenses mid roll?

The tech guy said that the frame spacing could not be adjusted during the CLA. And actually it was a bit better before the operation. If this is an actual scan of the length of film, I wonder why there is uneven spacing between the frames - don´t know whether that could be an indication of the cause for your problem....

Robert,
I did, but I've also done that before a million times during the time I owned the camera, and never encountered this before.

Hi,
I agree with CNNY, the problem is most likely a bad light seal. Time for a CLA.

May I ask: who did the CLA?

It's OK. I was just curious if it was someone in Sweden.

That's internal reflections in the 21mm lens. No "light leak" nonsense.

Those are some bad reflections. Reflections of what? I've never had reflections looking like that, but I have had similar looking light leaks.

It was cloudy, the CV21 is very flare resistant, and the issue continues outside the frame. That's internal reflections in the 21mm lens. No "light leak" nonsense.
