Elmarit 28mm Fungus?

Hi everyone,

Hope I posted this in the right section... I've been lurking for awhile here but now I finally have a reason to post. Anyway, I would like to hear your expert opinions on the lens I just bought. It's a 28mm Elmarit and it has some white specks on the inside of the lens. Is this fungus? Is it something else that's bad? Should I send back the lens?

The picture that I took is not very sharp, but I hope it gives a clear enough impression of the condition of the lens.

Hey Dan,

Thanks for the quick reply. Schneideritis does not have any negative impact on image quality if I recall correctly? If that's the case, I'm glad. Got the lens for a good price and I'd hate to have to send it back.
