This little guy grabs my attention everytime I see the photo. I like the perspective, like he's leaning into the lens. I like it a lot

I missed participating last week... and I feel guilty. Just managed to not get off my butt... it's not license to pick more this week, but I had a hard time narrowing down. My picks:
dasuess, Parking Ramp Spiral
hausen, Sunrise, Orewa Beach
Luigi, 32.09.W
Michel154, Making Crack 3
ChEc, Image54

this week...
first, a couple that i missed until i saw them here
michel154. the series is really good, but we all know about spoons (btw, this is not to diminish the greatness of the spoons pictures...). this one is about the face - a very, surprisingly old face - of an addict. i guess i always think of crackheads as superannuated juvenile delinquents, but this dude is serious for real.
andyv. joyful is exactly right. it's got the whole 70s thing going on plus the great faces and moment. i love this photo.
now for ones i got from thumbnails. *renews plea for larger gallery views*
my favorite(s) of the week, from filmfan, cape cod 1 & 2. the first one is a great mix of tones, lines, curves, obscured female beauty, a great kinetic shape in the shower and intimacy. the second is just plain fun, with the face out of sight and the hair everywhere exactly right.
chec - this one is goofy but it works for me. i think it's the rope on the left or how well loved that climbing structure is or the yellowed light of late afternoon (or expired polaroid).
crazy fedya. superbokeh. just gorgeous.
harry caul. this is a really boring marina photo that is suddenly very interesting with a lithe figure at the edge of a stretch. the contra-jour foreground + landscaped background works for me.
as always, there were twenty others that i could have put up here. i'm trying to keep my list very small each week.

Thank You, porktaco, lynnb, mrtoml, print44 and hteasley for noticing my modest efforts.
This week, however, I have two images it was impossible not to notice, amongst other absolutely phenomenal captures. I had to restrain myself due to lack of time, but those two, I just couldn't help myself, and had to mention.
heartattackandvine.Excellent capture. And not because I also love Tom Waits.
michel154. I love it, big time. One of my all time favorite environmental portraits, of sorts. Very disturbing.
