It is apparently possible that the red dot dates from the period of Neanderthal man, and the Neander valley is not so very far from Wetzlar . . . Is this coincidence, hmmm???

That's why you're supposed to use gaffers tape, not that horrible sticky electrical stuff

There must be a lot of people who appreciate cave art, or else the copyright lawyers are gearing up for a massive infringement lawsuit against Leica. Maybe a class action suit with all of humanity in the class.

The poor deluded sod who covered the red dot did so because there was a sabre tooth tiger waiting outside the cave ... and he'd heard that taping over the dot would make the cave invisible.

Unfortunately Apple patented everything, including ' a red circle ' which resembles a product of theirs, in the future.. we just haven't discovered yet.
