Here is my iPhone 4S Hipstamatic shot, which I quite like (taken from the top of Sugarloaf):
I like this one the best, and I don't really enjoy color. This is nice, but I don't know if the camera (Canon digital) has in-camera grain, but shoot it straight and the add grain: just a little.

I'll upload a picture of my "nondescript" bag. It's a heavy canvas olive drab green military engineer bag. I put a soft padded insert inside for the camera.

John, I took straight pictures of that same view from my X100 as well...I'll have a look. I like what Hipsta did for it though
