A bunch of the NYC and greater area RFF gang got together in Coney Island on June 23rd and shot the gathering and preparations for the Mermaid Parade.
Here are a few of my favorite images from the morning and the ensuing madness:

The two close ups of the bodies are particularly nice. I'll look at the bigger thread when I'm home. I've always wanted to go to the mermaid parade

Great shots, Phil. I got into the staging area round 10 am, I was hoping to meet some RFFers but only manage to meet one. Too many photographers, like a shark feeding frenzy. I will process my shots tomorrow and hopefully post them then.
