among the photos i liked this week
kiev ilegalac
super light. engaging subject. wtf is that around her neck, but it works for her. exposure great on the eyes.
mlehrman
usually, i dislike visual puns this obvious, but this one is perfectly done. the 3 stooges basement door part helps.
wonderful tonality across the whole photo. big lines, echoed everywhere. her face is fantastic.
bobfrance
great series, and this one was my favorite. i like weird stuff, and this one is weird. well composed, gets you to look at all of his hat and wtf is going on with his makeup. well done.
steve kessel
i like weird and different stuff. so, yes, the weird subject matter works for me. however, as we say here in austin, weird is not enough. stong subjects, well focused/composed/framed, and that guy on the right is caught at exactly the right instant.
walter leporati
best of a lovely series. i love what's going on between the two of them. her smile is great, and he's wonderfully louche.
ferider
great framing (booby and arm are exactly right). great engagement with the subject. nicely done, and best of another really nice series.
photonytexas
i dunno, i'm a sucker for dots.
jcrutcher
as with the cones picture, i tend to shy away from photos with such a clear message. however, as with the cones picture, it's so nicely done. his leg, the big white diagonal and - of course - the cat. that's a bingo.
aaaaaaaaaaaand, the photo of the week for me
raytoei
yes, it's shamelessly dreamy. yes, it's subject matter we've all seen before. yes, it's incomplete. but i like it. there are all kinds of little things... the line from the chair leg through the stocking top. the radial lines through the heels. the blur on the cup. the lineup of the knee and the wall moulding. the triangles in the moulding and on her leg. and a great pair of legs.
