Well since I am not quiet trained up to be a ref yet, I decided to try my luck with a camera. Needless to say a manual focus rangefinder probably wasn't the best choice but oh well I think I survived. The film used was Kodak Tri-X 400 pushed to 1600 and developed in Ilford Microphen. The lens used were a 40mm Voigtlander Nokton, 90mm Leica Elmarit, 28mm Konica Hexanon.
I hope you like them!

I think you did an amazing job, considering the circumstances! Well done!
Btw, Roller Derby is one wild sport. I remember the pro teams back in the 1950's and '60's. I thought it was much more exciting than the "pro" wrestling of the period.

Nice and unusual subject. Curious: which was shot at 28mm?

This is used to be telecast on Star Sports when I was growing up. Favorite time-waster for a kid who did not like cricket.

Great job with the M. Fast moving subjects are always a bit of a pain with a rangefinder.

Love it! I was totally going (for like, the past year) go to cheesy roller derby and shoot away. Perfect venue for shootin' with a Leica or (in my case) a Nikon (or whatever...) Stole my thunder. Much better now that they dispensed with the guys. Excellent photos!

Yeah as long as I didn't get caught up in the action, the refs are quiet happy for me to be in the middle of the track. I thought it might get slightly different perspective
PS I did giggle when one of the photographers asked how many megapixels my camera was...such a lovely blank response when I told her I was using film
