Photographing portraits with Xpro and J-3

After deciding the 60/2.4 just didn't work for me, I've been trying to use my beloved J-3 on the X-pro1. It's not perfect, but I'm enjoying some of the results.
I'm still getting used to using the magnified focus, but I think I'll eventually get pretty good at it. But for now, I'm still missing focus on enough shots that I don't yet have total confidence.


A few recent shots: (the last two were pretty heavily backlit, which was pretty challenging for this old lens)

I've been using the CV 75/2.5 Heliar on the X-Pro (112mm EFL). Fantastic combination.
