Hello everyone,
I just took my M6 out of hibernation and put a roll of Tri-X through it, but now i'm really wondering which viewfinder i have. Is there a way of telling from the camera itself, or should i look at the serial number?
Thanks for helpiing me out!

If it's not a TTL, it is most probably a 0.72.
Only a small batch of 085 finders were available on the classic M6 before the introduction of the TTL.

Look at the front window on the viewfinder, there's a silver strip along the bottom of the glass. Earlier ones do not have any text on it, and they're .72 finders. Later, after the .85 finder was introduced, the silver strip on the finder window would say .72 or .85 depending on the finder it had. The .58 finder was only made on the M6-TTL, and is labeled the same way.

If it doesn't say, it's a 0.72x.
