faster from hong kong!

i ordered a few little things for the rx100 recently.

the most expensive item was the franiec grip which was sent on the 17th of this month...still not here.

i ordered a battery charger for the rx100 battery, with car adapter, from hong kong and it was sent on the 24th.
guess which one showed up today and which one is nowhere to be found?

shipping costs were pretty much even...

i do not understand how items from hong kong and china get to western canada faster then stuff from the states?!!

Amazing !!!!
Yet I can order something from just the other coast
and can wait 5 days to get it

I had ordered a strap from HK and it came in record breaking Time as well
The only disappointment was its Quality... Not good

I don't really get how they can send anything for as cheap as they do either. If I tried to send even a roll of film out of the states I'd have to fill out 4 papers and it would cost at least $10

Cheers for the link, I was looking for a charger.

To chime in on the shipping, I've had things from Hong Kong arrive overnight to Japan. Things from China via China Post tend to take over a month though.

Obviously, living almost next door to Hong Kong, I get my stuff almost overnight. I have a few pet suppliers and they treat me very kindly with frequent agreements on reduced shipping costs. Unless it's a rare or extraordinary item I don't shop anywhere else. Hong Kong is my one stop shop.

Sweet, thanks! That is very close to where I'll be staying (Salisbury YMCA). I've heard it's a good spot for record digging, one of my main objectives.
