I just bought an M2 from a member here knowing the sprocket holes are off a little on the film, as in it makes it hard to load the film into plastic sheets.

Is this a very easy fix? We have an amazing resource of this old guy who fixes cameras in my area that would do it for $50 or less I'm sure. However I was wondering if maybe once the plate is off the bottom, it is as easy as lift, turn, and put the plate back on.

Also has anyone put on their own larger aperture to the rangefinder, that DAG sells? I was thinking maybe that isn't something that may not be hard to do either.

I assumed he meant the spindle with the sprocket teeth for pulling the film along in the film chamber has somehow rotated out of alignment slightly. There should always be one tooth facing upwards, both before and after winding on, otherwise it can have trouble catching and end up messing up sprocket holes.

And I'm guessing this can make sliding the film into sleeves for archiving a little awkward?

Okay. The sprocket is geared. I don't know if there are set screws that one can adjust to orient the gear teeth.

The gear synchronization of a Leica is one area that you absolutely want to get right, and one area that you never want to alter if you don't need to. As DAG said to me once, "get it wrong and bad things happen".

The camera works, but when you cut the film the sprocket holes are not lined up so that you cut inbetween them and inbetween frames at the same time. Annoying, but not the end of the world.

On the camera the film transport sprocket, instead of the tabs being pointing right at me, a blank space is pointing at me. However I just noticed when I wind the camera and watch the whole thing turn, there is a set screw on it. I can't tell if it is a set screw for the whole thing (so I could adjust it) or if it is just for the top, or has nothing to do with it!

The PDF doesn't even show pictures of this part except the first ones that don't point with arrows and names.
