Use hood 12585H with Summicron 35 f2 version III

Hi everybody,

Could you please advise me if I can fit hood 12585H with summicron 35/2 version III, without any problem? Because I read some adviced that it maybe get a slight vingetting in the corners. Is it right? On the hood is mentioned for using 35/2 also.

Unfortunately it vignettes, Khiem. You need 12504. There is a great replica available, for example 180724802012 @ ebay. Not cheap, but usually cheaper than a Leica original.

this is thw rectangular one, correct ? I think it has a notch that you have to cut out.
