Wow... the 1.8/32 sounds very interesting, if it has that typical Zeiss look.
So happy with the Fuji 35mm that I can't imagine needing the 32mm. The 50mm sounds good though.

Well, so much for my buying Fuji's 14mm lens, because a 12mm/f2.8 is more in line with my needs / wants. 8^)

yeah, that 12/2.8 will probably be damn awesome

Loads of time for people to save their dinero, cash, moolah, etc. (not due till mid year 2013).
I would be somewhat interested IF they could make such lenses in M-mount as well
Actually the 12 would be a bit faster than my current CV 12mm
Cheers,
Dave

Weird, anyway, (if I'm reading it right) that only the e-mount are mf-capable, and that only the x mount have an aperture ring.
But awesome regardless of those limitations... 12/2.8 will be really cool.

Thanks for the link. I've had trouble keeping up with everything lately.
Great looking set of lenses and the price, IMO, isn't too bad. Very doable for the quality I expect.
Starting to wonder about keeping a DSLR around.

That's what I was thinking as well.
I imagine that the Zeiss 12mm will EVF/LCD only. I think I read somewhere that the Fuji 14 is right at the edge of the OVF.
I hope I am wrong though, I have really enjoyed the Sony Zeiss DSLR lenses and would really like use the 12 but not sure I could do without the OVF.

By EVF/LCD only do you mean that you can't use it with the OVF period, or just that part of the image area will fall outside the view finder window?

I am just spculating at this point, but I think that the OVF is not wide enough for the focal legnth. I guess you could still use the OVF but you will have to take a guess where the frame ends.

U can test it out by using the custom mf lens option and create a 12mm setting to c if the corner arrows show up.. If these outward facing arrows show up, then your ovf is not wide enough.
