NY Times Leica Celebrity Article - More evidence...This is the End

I think the most interesting piece to discuss is this:
“Carrying a Leica around can be a little like driving a Bentley,” Mr. Holve said. “Just because you can afford it doesn’t mean you’re a good driver.”
Do you believe Leica makes you a better driver? ;)

At least RFF got a free plug in the article.

Who knows, maybe we'll have Hollywood bigwigs joining in on bag or strap threads, or more importantly, join in a silver vs. black poll!;)

Jeff Bridges shoots a Widelux ... I have a Widelux!

(Strolls off with smug expression.)

This is huge!!!! Now we need to set a celebrities sub forum.

"“It is a restrained fashion statement: the black body, the beautiful red dot that says ‘Leica,’ ” said Edward Earle,"

Guaranteed to annoy RFFers

Interesting that a few are still using a film Leica, it's not all digital, even among celebrities who can well afford them.

I don't know, since I got the Nikon S2 with that shiny chrome
finish I've been feeling a bit like a celebrity. This past weekend
I was in New York City shooting with it and I was approached
by three people at different time asking about the camera I
was using, so we can be celebrity's too!

P.S. Film Lives!!!
