We need to bring more celebrities into the fold, especially if they shoot film. Keep it alive and in the public eye! Who knows, for all we know Brad Pitt, Elijah Wood, Seal, John Mayer, Brendan Fraser, etc etc already post here anonymously...
I think rangefinderforum just hit the big time. It was like we were Wired magazine. Don't be so sure Audrey isn't already here. BTW, Audrey, I'd be happy to lend you one of my 25s if you like.
Mr. Mayer’s post inspired a spirited dialogue about Leica chic among celebrities on rangefinderforum.com, an enthusiast’s site. “If Paris Hilton is packing a DLux does that mean I’ll have to dump my trusty carry-everywhere lest I be labeled a fashionista?” wrote one commenter, in reference to another Leica model.
Beautiful add with a elegant lady, the digital M doesn`t feel right. An M3 or an M2 would suit the look of the commercial much better. Orient Express, a beautiful Babe, a classic perfume and a classic camera.
But this will encourage the Leica haters, and those of us who do use Leicas as they're supposed to will now be tagged as snobs, celeb wannabees, and bling collectors--all over again. I hate these kind of articles....
