So, on Sunday I did a photo shoot of my car with Jimmy Ton, a fellow member of the Nebraska Subaru Owner's Club and automotive photographer, who does in-motion beauty portraits of cars. I took a bunch of behind-the-scenes pix and here are some:

Holy crud that's a lot of phonetographers...

Holy crud that's a lot of phonetographers...

So, I don't know how wedding photographers can work in this day and age with everyone, even bridesmaids, underfoot wielding camera-phones and P&S digis. My Hippocratic Oath for shooting at weddings as a guest is "First, stay out of the official photog's way." I'm always looking for him and shooting only when I'm damn sure I won't be interfering. Clearly others have no such compunction. Here was the cake-cutting at a recent wedding in my wife's family. The beleaguered official photog and assistant are the chaps with the major lights.

Canon AE-1 Program, 50/1.4 wide open, Delta 400 souped in Ilfosol 3.
