my M9 in this moment is in Solms for the last check-up before the warranty expires and I'd like to upgrade to M9-P at the end of 2013/ beginning 2014...

Sorry but what do you get beyond cosmetics ... ?
I taped the red dot and the "M9" and stuck a Giotto screensaver on the LCD for a total of $ 27.
I am using my M9 and be happy I saved $1500 that I am putting away for a Monochrom...

it's a whim... and then I get one more year warranty.

I'm happy with my m9, no interest in the monochrom (my mp with tri-x do the job...) nor in the new m(10).
I simply want change cosmetics after 3 years...

Modifs were done by the previous owner from the Netherlands (special grey leather, thumbie, sapphire glass, new shutter and the special P cover).
Happy owner of a near mint M8.

I removed the white m8 paint on my old Black M8 with Methylated Spirits, It came off like wet paint! Black stayed there just fine
