My new blog with mostly abstract work

A month ago I started a blog, first ever for me. As you'll see if you click the link I'm lately very much into abstracts, almost exclusively using portra. I scan completely flat and then adjust contrast. Any comments would be most welcome!

I enjoyed your work very much, and will bookmark your page.

But . . . I found it clumsy to view the pictures. After clicking to the next picture, I have to rescroll up to see it because that header image stayed persistent. I'd like to simply click through or arrow page down without having to scroll up every time.

Again . . . very nice abstracts !

really dig your photos. seeing them all together on one page really creates an atmosphere! excellent.

The images are nice, although I am not sure for how much longer you can stick to taking only this kind of photos. On a side note, a Leicaflex SL with a Macro Elmar 60/2.8 would be a much more natural rig for this kind of work - more precise framing, and ability to get closer.
 
Will see, but I hope for as long as I like. There's an abundance of opportunity in a city, thousands of old surfaces that scream to be seen.

Thank you for the suggestion about camera. Leicaflex SL did cross my mind, to be honest, but I do have two SLR's, Olympus OM and Praktica, and use them occasionally. If needed they can both get closer and frame more precisely. But for most situations I faced by now, M6 was more than OK.
 
Wonderful textures, colors, and tones. These would look great as prints.

And I agree that the viewing of full size images is a little annoying with the way the site is designed, but the content is unique and aesthetically excellent.

I tried many wordpress themes, but unfortunatelly it looks like all have almost the same design when it comes to seeing full images/clicking next/scrolling.

I don't comment on your gallery pictures because I'd get painfully repetitious.
 
To be honest, abstract images are usually the last thing that I want to look at but your photos are absolutely fantastic. There are plenty of ordinary examples of the kind of thing you do out there but yours really are a cut above. You obviously have a fantastic eye for detail. I agree with one of the other posters who said they would make great prints. I think large box prints would sell very well. Congratulations!
