Hi,
I bought a GXR 6-months ago. It updated the firmware from 1.29 (I think), 1.51. However, I would like to get some of the older firmware installments, so I can get better ISO range, better focusing. Can I get the older firmware updates or am I SOL? I check Ricoh`s Global site, but links to older firmware are not available.
BTW I have the 50mm and 28mm.

Congratulations on the GXR.
Are you sure you need the old ones? Usually firmware like 1.51 would include the changes from past updates like 1.29.
By the way, how do you like the 50mm?

I like the 50/2.5 a lot. It is sharp. The only thing I do not like is that it hunts in low light or poor contrast. The 28/2.5 is amazing.

I would write Ricoh with the request. Alternatively, look for mirror sites that have not been updated. (I am testing the 50 2.5 a lot now: just got another (cheap!) GXR body to keep the m module + zeiss / cv / serenar lenses on.

Firmware is cumalative...the most recent should have all the features of the past updates.

By the way, until I updated my camera's firmware, the EXIF data were not being updated with the lens information I had set up in the camera. That's
a useful feature, so I do suggest updating to 1.51 when you have time.

Yes, the updates are accumulative. My problem arose during the explosion from a zip file. Some of updates were not downloaded correctly. I tried again. And the third time was the charm. Thanks.
