Wedding Photographer recommendations?

I have not seen any requests for Help Wanted on the forums, and do not know the best way to go about it, but am hoping for some assistance.

My nephew is getting married January 12, 2013 in Lafayette, Indiana, USA, and is looking for a wedding photographer.

If you know of a skilled wedding photographer that is available for that event, please let me know. Money won't be an issue; they are willing to pay professional rates for an experienced, skilled, wedding photographer.

My sister is very nice, and very picky, so a photographer who works well with the mother of the groom will be ideal.

If you know of a better way to go about this, I would also like to know that.

I believe the best way is to find someone who hired a wedding photographer they were happy with the results.

The quality of photographer can vary although price is a good indicator.

Whatever they desire.

Isn't there anyone in Lafayette they can hire? I live up in Fort Wayne, an hour and a half away from there, and we have a lot of wedding photographers. Indianapolis, an hour from Lafayette, has even more.

They have contacted two local photographers, and had one do family portraits for them earlier this year. Diplomatically, the skill sets were good, but not high.

My sister and nephew have also contacted other photographers, but those do not do weddings.

So, my sister asked for my help. I posted here because I know that excellent photographers visit the forums RFF, or maybe someone who knows an experienced wedding photographer that is available will see this in time.

Andy Pauquette was a classmate of mine at Indiana University, he lives in Ft. Wayne and specializes in weddings. He's expensive, but very good, and probably cheaper than bringing in someone from New York.
