My latest blog entry features photos taken with my 1953 Leica IIIf and Voigtlander 21mm f4 lens - one of my favourite little wides in LTM mount - at the beautiful new Singapore 'Gardens by the Bay' (Roll 5 of my 6 Singapore films taken in November 2012)

Thanks very much for the comments.
I like the first one too :)
I decided a while back when going back to Singapore to only now shoot in black and white (even if I am doing digital and converting). I like the look of Singapore in black and white more.

DeMarco is a seriously good photographer. The only bad thing about looking at his work is how it makes me feel about my own (lol). I am interested in hearing a bit more why the first photograph is excellent. I agree that it is, but I wonder what others have to say about why.

Thanks again for the kind comments.
All of the shots from this blog entry are from the same roll of film in the Leica IIIf, Ilford HP5, and all use the CV 21mm f4.
In Singapore I used only HP5 in my IIIf and Kodak Tri-X in my Leica M3, mainly to help distinguish between the rolls taken later.
I have only one more roll of film from Singapore to upload on the blog, which I shall do some time soon.
The 21mm CV really is a nice little lens - and so tiny it's easy to add it to your travel bag without noticing. In fact I loved it so much I went and bought a classic 1950s Zeiss 21mm chrome viewfinder just to look good on the chrome IIIf (and given the CV is chrome colour). I shall upload a photo sometime
