Hi. Under pressure form the mrs I'm thinking of selling my OM3 which is mint and boxed and OM4 ti which is also mint but has no box. We're talking no signs of use on either camera. I have no idea where (other than the fleabay lottery) I should sell them. Any help appreciated.

ptarmigan--list them in the classifieds here.
Great section for both buyers and sellers.
Good luck!

Thanks for the prompt response. Will I find some genuine collectors on here only I'm fed up with time wasters to be honest. I've not posted much on here as although I have a Leica II (D) which I'm also going to sell and a Leica M8 (which I will be keeping) I haven't been doing much photography in the last year or two.

I agree - classifieds here is the best place. You can find "time wasters" anywhere - it is a part of the selling process to deal with those if you want to get a fair price for your gear.

I guess so. I'll get them both, and my Leica II (D) added to the classified section in the next couple of days. Thanks.

You can't keep the cameras and sell the missus instead?

Haha....
No, she's very nice. To be honest, I just trashed my carbon MTB which has to be replaced and that has prompted me looking to raise some cash. I'm slightly embarrassed at how much film camera gear I have and other gear like for example 2 mint tripods I never use, special pano heads, close up kit, studio lights, etc etc.... the list goes on. I've a soprano sax that worth a small fortune and never gets used either. I really should sell quite a lot really and I'd quite like to see someone getting more 'use' out of the OMs. I can't put them on display and I am going to keep my OM1 and OM2n.
The best I can say is I did already sell my Leica M6, Bronics ERTSi, Mamiya 645 Pro TL and my collection of early EOS film cameras (620, 650 and 600). See I said I was bad
I should probably sell the lot and raise £3k or more but then I am a bit of a magpie. She's very tolerant really.

As a fellow MTBer and photographer, I would advise you to replace your trashed carbon MTB with a good titanium frame. Carbon is fine for road bikes, but is just too brittle for a bike that one can expect to crash, especially on rocks. Carbon is very strong, but has poor impact resistance. Titanium is extremely tough, doesn't dent easily, never corrodes and doesn't scratch easily either. That way you won't have to sell off more really nice camera bodies replacing your next broken MTB frame.
BTW, you may be able to save some money by having your carbon MTB repaired. Calfee repairs carbon bikes and apparently can repair some pretty heinous carbon fractures, as shown on their website.

1 Sell both if you need money
2 Sell the one you can get more money for if you need money little less than n #1
3 Sell the one that is cheaper if you want a shelf space

All good advice. Both cameras look unused and to be honest they are just wrapped and sitting dust free in a drawer as I have nowhere to display them. Along with the Leica II (D) I have I had big plans to start shooting film again, maybe even setting up a wet darkroom - but I started my own business last year and that is taking all of my time so it's probably time to call 'time' and sell most of my film gear though I will keep an OM1MD and OM2n, actually I might have an OM1n as well, can't remember if I bought one or not. Magpie see, don't even know what I have got!
So final question. I have 2 or 3 Zuiko 50mm f1.4 lenses. They are all near mint but not as good as the two OMs. Sell with the lenses or sell them separately?

Depends on price you will be asking. Nice body w/ a fast prime is something what can shake even stable person. Selling lenses separately would attract crowd using them not only on native bodies. Your OM's seem to be in shape which justifies high enough price even without lenses. So you figure out if you want to have extra visit to post office and more cash.
