Yashica 35cc doesn't focus

I got a Yashica 35cc yesterday for $20. It's in pretty good condition. The problem is when you turn the focus ring nothing happens. I tried to adjust the focus at infinity by turning the screw under the hot shoe. Nothing. Any other ideas before I send it off to repair? Thanks.

What do you mean by nothing? Turn focus ring and it doesn't move physically? Lens doesn't change length? RF patch in VF doesn't move?

Meaning that the RF patch doesn't move at all. The lens moves and adjust when you turn the focus ring but the RF patch doesn't move at all.

Obviously have to open camera and see what's with RF coupling cam.
